IMG_1071I’m Natalia Anderson, a Certified Health Coach with a lifelong passion for nutrition, food and leading a healthy lifestyle.  In college I studied finance and nutrition and went on to work in finance on Wall Street. Working in the high paced finance world I found that focusing on living a healthy lifestyle including diet and exercise helped me maintain a strong balance in my life. I also realized how many people disregarded health and wellness in such a fast-paced environment, which only inspired me more.
While I was pregnant with my first child, my husband and I were in the process of moving overseas so I decided to take a leave from work and stay home. Another child soon followed, but once they both started school I decided that I wanted to begin working again – but not in the finance world. This time I decided to follow my passion and I became a Certified Health Coach.  My goal is to help as many people as I can to become healthier and ultimately, happier.

“You are what you eat”

If you fill your body with nourishing and nutritious foods, you’ll feel satisfied and full of energy. On the other hand, if you fill your body with overly processed foods and choices that lack nutritional value, you’ll feel sluggish, moody and irritable. I understand that changing the way you eat can be intimidating: that’s why I take the time to get to know each one of my clients in order to customize a plan that fits with their personal taste and lifestyle. Think you are too busy to cook? I’ll show you how to make better choices at the grocery store and shortcuts in the kitchen. Travel a lot or eat out frequently? I’ll help you figure out how to order healthier fare. Love to cook, but want healthier or family friendly options? I’ll come to your house and create some meals alongside you and your family. Small changes over time can make a huge impact on your health and well-being.

Food is one of life’s great pleasures! I don’t believe you have to eliminate entire food groups. I believe that everything is acceptable in moderation. I don’t believe in counting calories but rather eating whole foods that nourish you. My goal is to remove processed, unnatural foods from your diet and add in more vegetables, fruits, whole grains, healthy fats, and natural sources of protein. With my help, we can eliminate eating empty calories so that every bite you take will be delicious and beneficial at the same time. You’ll look better, feel better, and be healthier than ever before!
